Who doesn't LOVE a treasure hunt?! The Exchange by KARE is just that....a treasure hunt that's available multiple days a week!
Our thrift store, the Exchange by KARE (announced May 2022), is open to the public. We're stocked only through donations from our community members. We accept donations during business hours through our donation bins located on the side of our building. If you need assistance with larger donations, simply ring the doorbell at the back door and someone will assist you. All donations are tax deductible and receipts can be provided for any donation upon request.
In addition to clothing, our store also has housewares, home décor, baby toys, and furniture items, among many miscellaneous items.
Our inventory varies from day to day, so shop with us often to be sure you don’t miss out on any great deals!
All proceeds from our store go directly back into our community through KARE programs.

New Store Updates
The purchase of the property at 405 S. Hampton Street paves the way for KARE to become more self-sustaining. The Exchange by KARE will move into the Hampton Street location later in the year creating an opportunity for substantial growth for our resale store. The increased visibility on the main street in Kershaw will all but guarantee a rise in revenue.
The expansion allows us to house more inventory and we are currently exploring options to obtain more furniture and hopefully appliances. We are excited about the possibilities!
