FOOD PANTRY PROCEDURES: KARE continues to provide hunger relief through a monthly supplemental food order containing a well balanced assortment of items. To apply for assistance, call our office (803 475-4173) Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 1:00pm. We serve our established Food Pantry clients Monday– Thursday from 8:30 – 11am. Clients should bring their KARE ID and a current utility bill.

Financial Assistance: KARE is once accepting applications for financial assistance as well as weatherization. Requests can be found on our website at https://www.kershawkare.org/forms and https://www.kershawkare.org/home-repair. You can complete the application AND budget forms and submit them to KARE through email at info@kershawkare.org or fax them to 803-475-1282. Our financial counselors will contact you to complete your application.

The Exchange by KARE: Our store is open from 11am-5pm Tuesday-Thursday and 9am-2pm Saturday. Senior Shopping Day continues to be the first Thursday of each month where seniors receive 50% of clothing and shoes. Monthly sales will continue offering BIG savings to our shoppers! Come see us! Donations bins are open Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-2pm. We do ask that large furniture be donated during operating hours to protect it from theft/vandalism/damage.
